Graduate students

The PCN Lab recruits one Master’s student and one Ph.D. student each year. Outstanding undergraduate students are encouraged to apply for graduate admission to the lab. 

Research Responsibilities

• (Optional) Conduct behavioral task training in rhesus macaques and assist with electrophysiological and two-photon imaging data acquisition;

• (Optional) Assist neurosurgeons in behavioral experiments and electrophysiological data collection;

• (Optional) Participate in collaborative research projects with partner laboratories and high-tech companies;

• Perform data analysis and contribute to manuscript preparation and publication.
  
  

Professional Development Support

The advisor will develop individualized career development plans for graduate students:

• Students focused on academic research will receive strong support and recommendations for further training at top international universities and research institutes.

• Students interested in industry-oriented careers will have opportunities to participate in applied research projects and will be recommended for positions at neurotechnology companies.
