The PCN Lab recruits one Master’s student and one Ph.D. student each year. Outstanding undergraduate students are encouraged to apply for graduate admission to the lab.
(Optional) Conduct behavioral task training in rhesus macaques and assist with electrophysiological and two-photon imaging data acquisition;
(Optional) Assist neurosurgeons in behavioral experiments and electrophysiological data collection;
(Optional) Participate in collaborative research projects with partner laboratories and high-tech companies;
Perform data analysis and contribute to manuscript preparation and publication.
The advisor will develop individualized career development plans for graduate students:
Students focused on academic research will receive strong support and recommendations for further training at top international universities and research institutes.
Students interested in industry-oriented careers will have opportunities to participate in applied research projects and will be recommended for positions at neurotechnology companies.
